Hong Kong Kirby
Whilst the rest of our School was enjoying a half term break, Mr Kevin Vane, Head of Geography, jetted off to Hong Kong to give a presentation about the work that West Kirby Grammar School has been doing to support less afluent rural communities in the province. He also took time to meet with colleagues in the Rotary Club and Salvation Army, who really want to ensure that our links with China in Sichuan Province are maintained. Mr Vane’s address was described as “inspiring and interesting” in a recent email of thanks and he was complimented on his passionate presentation.
We thank Mr Vane for giving up his half term to promote our School on the other side of the world and look forward to supporting rural communities around Hong Kong and in China over the next few years.
