Statement of Intent
We are committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all of our pupils so they can learn in a relaxed and secure atmosphere. Bullying of any kind is unacceptable in the school. If bullying does occur all pupils should be able to tell and know that incidents will be dealt with properly and effectively. The anti-bullying policy complements the aims and values on which West Kirby Grammar School bases its work. It also complements the work of the pastoral team and draws from the whole school behaviour policy and rewards and sanctions.
Any student who feels intimidated whilst at WKGS should approach the form tutor or any teacher s/he wishes. Our policy details the investigative procedures, strategies and possible outcomes.
A copy of the Anti-Bullying Policy can be found below, together with a helpful guide produced by WKGS students for WKGS students.
